Junior Competitive Team with Full Tower Access – By Coach Invitation
Motto: “I am going to dive in college!”
Outline:
4-5 days per week
Includes two gym days and two to three pool days, often with one or two tower sessions per month
One extra conditioning day per week (additional practices at the coach’s discretion)
During colder months, one pool session may be replaced with dryland practice
Summer practices may be condensed to fewer days
Benefits:
Free participation in tower practices
Small group training, capped at the coach’s discretion for focused instruction
Direct training with the Head Coach
Coast Divers “National Team” suits for athletes who qualify for national meets
Expectations:
Participation in Junior Olympic (JO) meets on the club calendar, including qualifying and national-level events
Fulfillment of annual fees (due 9/1 each year)
Fundraising, volunteer, and donation commitments (e.g., corporate donations, silent auction items, or as determined by the Head Coach)
Payment of coaching and travel fees for meets

The Green Team consists of Junior Olympic divers, typically junior high and high school athletes. Selections are made at the coach’s discretion based on...

Schedule:
Monday - Gym - 3:15p-6p
Tuesday - Pool - 3:45p-6p
Wednesday - Gym - 3:30p-6p
Thursday - Pool - 3:45p-6p, Conditioning - Gym - 6:30p-7:15p
Friday - 1.5 - 2 hrs TBD
Competitive (Developmental) Team
Motto: “I really like diving and want to maybe do it competitively!”
Outline:
Two Days Per Week: One pool session and one gym session (1.5 hours each)
Three Days Per Week: A combination of pool and gym sessions:
One pool and two gym sessions, or
Two pool and one gym session (1.5 hours each)
Expectations:
Participation in Novice events at Association and Invitational meets
Novice divers may choose to compete in Junior events if they meet the required dive list for their age group
Once a diver competes in a JO event, they cannot return to novice events
Fulfillment of annual fees (due 9/1 each year)
Fundraising, volunteer, and donation commitments (e.g., corporate donations, silent auction items, or as determined by the Head Coach)

Eligibility:
The Orange Team is for divers of all ages who are part of the learn-to-dive program and are beginning to explore competitive diving

Monday/Wednesday - Gym - 4:30p-6p
Tuesday/Thursday - Pool - 4:30p-6p

One or two sessions per week (1 hour each)
Pool/Gym March-November, Gym December-February

Tuesday - Pool 6p-7p
Thursday - Gym 6p-7p
